What rudder is that? If the length and mounting holes are same as stock, it should work...

I just really wanted it cause it has 2 water pickups. If its to long I'll just cut it down. As long as the rudder itself's, where the pin goes thru to hold the rudder on is the same. I'll make it work. I might need to modify somewhat.

I don't know who makes it? I just seen a dual water pickup blade and was wondering? Heres 2 on the OSE site.

I'd rather have the straight blade. Like I said earlier, all I need is just the blade. I already have an offset bracket on the way.

Stock setup? Why do you need another pickup?

I'm putting in a Leo 4082 2200kv with a Seaking 180a, plus in oklahoma the water gets hot during the summer. I just want a dual in, dual out setup for safety

Looks like that Spartan rudder should work for you Jason. Not cheap though.

If you look at this thread you can see it should be easily adaptable.https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...-Submarine!-X3!

Just thinking that the rudder assembly would mount to the angled bracket that is attached to the hull. They are both flat side mounts as opposed to hoping the hinge pin assembly would interchange. Assuming this is what you were thinking?
Unless you were thinking of somehow mounting the entire rudder assembly.

I bought that rudder for the hell of it. Looks like I'm going to have to file a couple of mm's off where the pin goes thru. Plus it looks like I'll also have to drill the hole bigger for the pin. Not sure on the pin. Just got it in today when I was walking out to go to work. I'll let you know what all was needed to make it work.

    And?

Thinking of buying that same rudder for the Impulse 31 (V2).
It's either that or getting the dual rudder conversion kit to get a second water line.

RC Boat Bitz sells a dual intake rudder blade that just bolts on to the Chinese Pursuit hull/rudder mount... 130mm or 160mm long but, not as wide as above...

I wish I would have seen this thread before, I just purcahsed this from Kintec because I didnt think the OSE ones would work, but the rudder is gigantic and looks like if wanted it to work would require some heavy modifying.

5 Inch Rudder Short Base w/ Dual Water Pickup CNC machined aluminum rudder and mounting bracket with dual water pickups and servo arm. Brass bolt for kickback protection.
5 inch (128mm) from bottom of mounting bracket to rudder tip.
1 1/2 inch (38mm) from transom to leading edge of rudder.
Transom foot print is 1.7" (43.4mm) wide and 1.26" (32mm) high.
Rudder width tapers from 1 1/4 inch to 1.1
Servo arm w/ 2mm swivel. All stainless steel locknuts, bolts and washers included.

Do not run the brass break away bolt. You will rip the transom right off.It pulled the the through bolts right out of my 11lb Komodo and the brass bolt did not let go. Change to plastic and good to go.
