Nice! I absolutely love my Fantasm. Mine is a LV setup but still does 65-70 MPh on 5S. Great handling boats also!

Wow I would have thought there would be a bit more room than that. Will be interesting setting up the stuffing tubes. Looking good so far!

It's going to be tricky, I won't be able to put much angle on the motor.

You think you can get them in there with the jackets on????? Bit late now but twin 4092's would have been much easier and just as powerful. If it doesnt fit you can sell those easily and get some 4092's.

I'm a fan of big, long rudders with dual pickups

I get rudders longer than usual, and if they dont work out, then I lop some off, you cant add!! I've only cut two down so far out of 20+ boats, i like 'em long, great control that way in my opinion. I race my Pursuit so its just average length where you need all the help you can get.

    Just busting your chops.

I've made them longer before just by TIG welding aluminum bar to them and then finishing them off to the correct shap/size. I realize most people don't have the ability to do that though. Cutting them off is far easier!

Looks good so far. Im watching and keeping notes as im planning similar build over winter. Might go cf hull but same motor setup. When you run those on 8s what are you realistically trying for top speed?

That controller looks so good in there I may have to get me a Fantasm.I'm sure my 950kv TP's would do it.

what props you got on there ? with two of those torque monsters in the boat you will be able to spin some hefty props... also did you run the bolts for holding down the ESC thru the tunnel ? Looks good... and the dual pickup rudder is the way to go as far as I'm concerned. I've yet to see in hull pickups spray out water like these do.

Looking forward to seeing it run

I have a set of Prop Shop 4518's and 5017's, we'll see how she does...the ESC mount is bolted to another CF plate that is epoxied in place.
