180 seaking

Im running my spartan on 2 3 cell 8400 mh 25 c. I have the stock castle 1420 1800 kv motor. I just upgraded my Spartan with a 180 seaking esc. The first plugged it in it it ran with a heavy vibration for about 3 seconds and then the motor would come to a violent stop. Then the esc would reset by it's self. Tried adjusting the timing with same results. I plug in the stock esc and it ran fine. I tried to plug the 180 seaking back in and it blue sparks and melted the terminals. I checked to see if I hooked up a terminal backwards and everything was fine. Any ideas on what I should do from here? Please help

If it was vibrating, thats normally caused by a poor connector solder joint. I've see this may times.

Thanks for the tip but that's the least of my problems. I can't even plug the thing in without ignighting sparks and flames. Any possibility this esc is fryed? It's brand new and never been on the water. And if it is what is your return policy?
