I would think an x642 would get you close, but you're running on thin ice with your setup.

Also, you better reinforce the hull. A wipeout at those speeds could be catastrophic

Is'ent a 2200kv motor only good for 4s. @ 5S your pushing 40.700 rpms boom goes the motor?
    A 1200kv - 1600kv motor would handle 6s.
look for the voltage chart in here some where.

I agree, the revolt is limited by hull design, not power. 70 mph is just not gonna happen with any good results with this hull. Also 6s on 2200kv Leo won't last long. You might be able to do this with a better quality motor such as Neu but even then you should limit run times.

What you need is a hull capable of 70 mph. Then an appropriate motor/ prop combo. There are several combos that could do it, but you need to decide what's within your budget....

Yes, that doesn't mean that running the full 22 is recommended. Keep in mind that you're going direct drive. In a Rc car where the motor is geared down, 22 V might be ok, but not so much in a boat.

If money is no issue, leave you're revolt alone and build a boat that can handle the speed and put a Neu or castle motor in it.

Honestly, I haven't gotten to 70 yet. That's damn fast... So I really can't say, but I'm sure someone will chime in. Or start a new thread on the subject. -)

    Random,

Here is a stock Revolt running a grimracer L45x68 prop.

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9q0WTdU8mo

I am personally not looking for more than higher 40's on my Revolt. If I ever decide to go faster I will build a new boat from scratch and select the appropriate hull that can take the speed.

Box stock Re Volt and prop that it came with it 44.7 mph EagleTree. You need a different boat/motor/prop to do what you want.
