No, you would need to start with something different all together. If you made the German rudden, you wouldn't use any of the piece from the HOR rudder. It's not really a matter of modifying, just start with what you want.
Again, I'm not saying there is anything wrong with the HOR rudder, it's cool for what it is.

The hull you bought is not straight kevlar. It has a carbon/kevlar inlay, similar to what fighter cat's fiberglass fantasms have. It's the same hull design as the FC, just a different layup.

You have two so I would think so, except their not on anything.
I wouldn't on your boat. The servo is set up to lay down. which won't work with that rudder (unless you use 2 servos). You could remove that center tray and start over, but if you do that it would have made more sense to start with a bare hull.

    Hmm...
My site says that I don't send designs over to China for production. Keithbradleyboats is intended to be an outlet for people who want to build a better boat, or buy a better build. To maintain a high level of quality, US production is important.

I think TFL is the only company that makes a stinger that style anywhere near that size.
I ordered some of those a few weeks ago, but haven't received them yet.

$550 for a twin boat is not bad at all. It really just depends what you want to do with it.
There is a difference between saying you got a decent boat for $550, and saying that your boat is better than a $5000 HPR.

What 200amp speedos are those and what watt meter is that? No word on the whereabouts of the boat yet?

As I stated before you have bought a big boat and dependant on your aspirations, you may have to spend a lot of money to achive your goals..........speed means 8S and your proposed ESCs will not cut it and neither will the motors.

But you are honest in saying this is your second boat....keep learning as this is a neat hobby.

I'm very new to RC boats just started this spring. My first boat was bought on ebay. I took out the blown glass motor glassed the rear hole and repaired the frozen drive train. I have modified some of the props that I have bought and gave the boat a 5 color paint job. This new boat is something that I want to learn from as well as end up with a boat that others would like to drive, and look at. I will make errors along the way and open my mouth when I should be listening. I hope to learn from it and move on.

Are you saying you built the ESCs? They look like Suppos.

Custom because you added a $5 BEC to a $30 Suppo ESC?? Just curious.

Not trying to be hard on you, just be upfront with what you are offering. People may want a little more info other then "custom pieces" If your going to stock some stateside, add a bec and caps, and try to sell them.....more power to you.

    Default BEC install

    simple to install:

All you do is solder the UBEC input leads onto your speed control power input leads.

Plug the UBEC into your RX where you would plug in your Rx battery. - OR - Plug the UBEC into an standard on/off switch harness.

Make sure you disable your speed control's BEC.

That was basically a prototype hull...it was the first one to ever be built. It went 70mph on 10s with 80A ESCs but it was really spec'ed out to run on 12s.
There's a lot more speed capabilty in that hull. That boat was very mild and so stable a child could drive it at that speed!
If I build another one for myself it will run triple digit mph.

Who are you trying to scam with that etti ESC pic? They both have wires...that's about where the similarities end.

Since you like copying my pics, here's one you might be interested in. It's a pic of what happens after running one of those cheap POS ESCs you want to sell for about 1 minute. Have fun with that.
