Thank for the UPDATE eclipse. This may now give you time to research this forum and others on what motor, batteries etc. you will require to run this boat successfuly and be prepared to spend a lot of dough, if you wish speed.
This my last post on this thread and I wish Eclipse all the best and that he will be satisfied with his end result and I do mean that. As, it is very important that new boaters are happy with their first builds, as disapointment means we lose a comrade.

funny I'm actually watching Monty Python's flying circus right now, I love them so much.

Do I win the rustler if I guess the parts?

A new strut, rudder, maybe a motor mount, and a flex cable with stub shaft and prop. Obviously that's more than $90, but yeah probably some of those things.

Sir Bedevere: Tell me. What do you do with witches?
    Peasant 1: Burn them.
Sir Bedevere: And what do you burn, apart from witches?
    Peasant 1: More witches.
    Peasant 2: Wood.
Sir Bedevere: Good. Now, why do witches burn?
Peasant 3: ...because they're made of... wood?
Sir Bedevere: Good. So how do you tell whether she is made of wood?
Peasant 1: Build a bridge out of her.
Sir Bedevere: But can you not also build bridges out of stone?
    Peasant 1: Oh yeah.
Sir Bedevere: Does wood sink in water?
Peasant 1: No, no, it floats!... It floats! Throw her into the pond!
Sir Bedevere: No, no. What else floats in water?
    Peasant 1: Bread.
    Peasant 2: Apples.
    Peasant 3: Very small rocks.
    Peasant 1: Cider.
    Peasant 2: Gravy.
    Peasant 3: Cherries.
    Peasant 1: Mud.
    Peasant 2: Churches.
    Peasant 3: Lead! Lead!
    King Arthur: A Duck.
    Sir Bedevere: ...Exactly. So, logically...
Peasant 1: If she weighed the same as a duck... she's made of wood.
    Sir Bedevere: And therefore...
    Peasant 2: ...A witch!

Too true graham, sort of thread that you find on rcu.
    Will this dribble end?
    Will the boat run?
Will anyone still be following the thread to see?

I'm following it, because reading it make me feel slightly less insane. It's like watching someone build a huge scale kit, but it's not scale, exciting, and doesnt have many good pics, but what it lacks in quality, it makes up for in length and frustration.

    Under the dorsal guiding feather?

Well, it could grip it by the husk

and now for something completely different.
