    Default Second Spartan project...

    This is the latest project.... Custom painted (by me) sorry to pro painters , I'm obviously not, castle 1515 2200kv, castle hydra ice 240, running series two turnigy 5.0 45c lipos, and im gonna be installing a Prather 220, have a octura x 442 right now gonna see what speeds and temps look like before i go crazy..... Thanks for looking .... More pics to come, will post them i'n the gallery thread......

    Also giving props to Jeff wohlt for making the wire drive that i have i'n this boat ! Love it! No issues yet! Thanks alot Jeff for your hard work and professional service!

    I think the paint looks great.

    How did the 240 fit into the tray? It almost looks like you were able to mount it right onto the rails.

    Lol thanks! I actually mounted it to the vase of the tray, i used 4. Nuts and bolts to hold it i'n... It actually fit better than i thought. I got it and said to myself i hot alot if modding to do.... But it went i'n like it was built for it....

    That looks hot!! Like the colors!! Those splash guards on the back kinda look like swim plattforms on real boats, i may have to pick one up. Nice set-up, looks like it will run good!

    Thanks alot and your right the splash guard dies look like a swim platform lol... They're available on eBay just type i'n traxxas Spartan.i also have a dual pickup rudder coming from the same place i got the splash guard, they are alittle pricey at $50... Tho....

    I have a question, i have just finished installing a hydra ice 240 in my spartan. i have everything done except for the cooling lines. what size id lines did you use and how in the heck did you get them on the cooling tubes?

    Not sure exactly the size but the lines in tht pic are actually for gasoline engines lol O Sullivan makes those lines ....and you have to make sure you read the manual and look at the cooling line routing ....it only goes s certain way....study it good and you'll see Wt I mean....and yes the,lines go on kinda hard do to the spacing of the tubes...you actually have to put the two lines next to each other and put them on at the same time....good luck and you have IMO,the biggest and best esc made for rc boats......

    Also, if you have a dual pickup rudder ,you won't need a "t" fitting....my esc and motor on both are cooled separately of each other....
