Woot, woot!!!
One week down and 6 coats of wax on the hatch. Bottom all most ready to wax.
Shiny and silky smooth
Nice work Randy.
32" carbon rivercat single 4s 102mph, 27” mini Rivercat 92mph, kbb34 91mph, jessej micro cat(too fast) was
So cool to see how the boat is being made.
Thanks every one.
Hear is a up date on the tub bottom it is in the third wax stage.
The 1/10 scale motor is getting done too. I have molds of the blower and valve covers.
I am working on the bucks for the heads, intake and top of deck.
This is the old motor that I am going to model a blower scoop for the more modern day.
These 1/10 scale parts are helping me to get ready to form the 1/6 scale motor when needed.
Nice Randy, you are zooming along now. So that is a 1/10th motor, am I going to be able to use my 1/6 motor I have here from Northern Auto Parts?
I want to build a deck hatch for the 1/6 scale and you will be able to bolt on the parts from the NAP motor. There was more on Ebay now but they are gone. Summit has them now.

I got the fifth coat on the bottom.
The 1/10 motor is for the 1/10 runner bottom and the 1/10 TFH. Old project that needs to be finished.
Are you making this hull in 1/10 also?

Very cool, keep at it , the are a few guys building mini v8's that put out about 10 horsepower check out Conley motors V8 stinger 609. and schillings. they are about a 100cc and you can scream them to about 10 HP. They want big money for them but they would be the cherry onthe cake for your hydro drag jobs!
Thanks. I know about Conely. Never heard about the schillings before. This boat can be powered by anything. Can I afford one ??? Man I would have to save way too long and what I do have of that value I would not trade for one. Some one might do it time will tell. It sure would be neat. I think some one else has done it. Mine will be electric first. I do not know what Shawn or F1rogers will do.

absolutely can be powered with any choice, still you are very talented, love the scale drag dude!
Going brushless, and I have a goal of around 100mph.
Randy, I sure hope you are on high solid ground down there. It is usually us up here in Vancouver getting pounded with rain. Hang in there.
Shawn
I live in a pretty safe area. We are getting the highest levels it 20 years in most all the reservoirs. I live with flood control all around me. Do I live on high solid ground down. My house is 70 feet above sea level, in/on a old walnut orchard creek bed.
Awesome progress Randy. I've decided next is going to start my 'hydro phase' of boating!!!
Oh that's way back Randy, I kinda left them for cats. I still have a Miss Bud 1/12, and an outrigger. Both run but I haven't got serious with them. I recently got one of Andy's Edge Sport Hydro hulls too(yet to build).
I think I'll 'too out' on the cats this year so onto the next challenge is what I mean.
Randy, could you let me know how much I owe, would like to pay you the balance on my boat, that way you will have 2 paid in full. Thanks
