Any thoughts on what hardware to use. Mainly, strut & rudder for twin prop set-up.

I am feeling better, I just got a full nights sleep. I will be working the weekend to get caught up.
    Thanks for your patience.
I want to build it scale that might be wrong for a model on the shafts. I diffidently want to build the rudder and bracket to look real.

I've got one of these it looks like it would be perfect, I think if you mount it low on the transom like the real ones it will be fine. Besides your just using the rudder to guide it strait and low speed turns, this boat is not designed to turn like a oval course boat.

Or these, the 17th and 18th items on this page. http://kintecracing.com/Hardware.html and another cool rudder is the 34th item with a CF blade on it.

On the strut I will make a under the boat mount. I will start with adjustable, till I find the best setup. Remember I have a full machine shop.

Duh, that's right I forgot. Sorry Randy. anyway the rudder with the CF blade is pretty cool and the shape is pretty correct for a few of them I've seen

You were doing good when the parts were on my shelf Chris, hehe.

Glad your feeling better Randy. That 17-18 items sort of thang could work 'under hull'

I am only one guy, I race 10 times a year, if I am lucky. I work on several molds when the time is available. This project always pulls on me. But I have priority's that pull me more sometimes. It will be done right, I am not going to rush creativity. Thanks for asking it does make me feel better. I am not going to Moab this year (dang it). I might go to Hot August Nights. That is if the 65 or the 70tie are running.

when I looked at this thread last night I was asleep and did not want to wake up to answer much. Parma does not male the 1/10 scale Hemi any more. That is another project I an going to finish this winter. I am going to mold the block into the deck hatch. then I want to build the molds for heads, valve covers, magnito, blower, injectors and bug catcher. I intend to make the motor parts out of epoxy or liquid plastic.
Right now I have no orders for anything. This has never happened before. So I am working on this set of molds.
Thanks everyone for interest and comments.

The bottom of the sponsons came out great, I am so jazzed on this boat. I have the last Points race of the year top go to this weekend or I would spend the whole weekend working on it.
