Randy, Have you tried resin infusion using MTI Hoze?
No catch pot, no dry spots, no bubbles. it takes the place of the spiral hoze in a RTM, but the hoze has a microporous membrane that is permeable to gas but impermeable to resin. It works.

Yes the scoop will be the three butterfly type that sticks up in the air a long way!
Well they are called ‘hats’ Randy and Enderle makes a CF one. BDS would likely as well(Blower Drive Service).

Actually, the tall induction system is called a “Bird Catcher” and the shorter one is called a “Bug Catcher”. Here’s a pic of a BBC, 500ci, blown on alcohol motor I put together at my brother’s boat shop in Woodinville, Wa last week. It’s a BDS 6-71 blower on BDS manifold with an Enderle Bug Catcher... It was a fun build, all new Dart Block, Ross pistons and Eagle rods. I B a happy guy!

This should be a new class! I love the look of that boat.. Are you putting dual motors in it? Looks like a great SAW boat!

My thought is twins. The esc may be cheaper if we do 8S 2P possably the Hobbywing hv120. One of my customers has a Filer twin esc says it works great. 28641262_1450759351713654_855482656_o.jpg

Randy, its been since December 2016 that deposits were made for this hull, any idea when you might be shipping? Not trying to rush you, but it has been a year and a half now.

That was your CF boat that is twisted and I had to build a new one. If all goes well it will be ready next week.

Last week got ate by the biggest District race 54 drivers and 137 boats. I think it is the last one I am going to do, I hope. I was un loading monday and resting yesterday. Today I got the head space to join the hull. Tomorrow I will look for pits and see if it is as straight as I want it.
Progress is happening. I should be able to ship on Tuesday or Wednesday to F1rogers.
