two more coats of wax and then PVA. I am going to have to figure out the attachment of the sponsons, it will be a lot like the WE.

And look what my brother found me, claims it was off some Bigfoot toy truck. It may fit on Randy and be lighter than the one behind it

That block/deck mold was started, but not finished yet.

I fitted the main body of the boat last week before I caught the flu. Luckily I was over my sickness by Xmas.

Glad you got over it in time Randy. That is usually my trick, two days before the day I will catch something nasty.

A new process I have been thinking about. Is to take the wet cloth and squeegee a thin film of slurry on to the cloth to make a clean CF finish. Light and strong. No need to paint good looks and no water leakage with CF. Also close to look of infusion but much stronger. This is the result

That looks fabulous Randy. And don’t worry about getting old, it happens to the best of us. As long as you are enjoying yourself that’s all that matters.

I actually just had this conversation Saturday with Andy. Just keep the love.

Working on getting a scale scoop for the boats. I found a guy in canada to make one with a 3d printer.

Anyone I may know? On west coast?

What are you thinking Randy, perhaps the three butterfly type bug catcher?

I found this guy on facebook "Scale Design by MrcommaD". Any body know the manufacture of the scoop so we can get more scale detail?
Yes the scoop will be the three butterfly type that sticks up in the air a long way!
