Upgrading to a Seaking 180 ESC...

Well i think the time has come to upgrade to a Seaking 180 ESC in my Spartan. Few questions, will the 180 work good with the stock Traxxas 2.4 radio/reciever, what is the size of the stock Castle motor bullet connectors (4mm?? they aren't 5.5, i tried them), and what is the timming for the Castle motor? Thanks

Can't help you with the motor questions, I don't run the stock castle motor. But yes, the Traxaas radio system will work fine with 180.

When you get it make sure you get a program card for it as well. The V2 was prone to early Low Voltage Cut off and water issues. The V3 seems good, I would run a BEC on it though to reduce temps.

I would stay away from 6s....
