    Default Is This Normal???

Not sure if this was design that way.
Can you guys check your boats and tell me if your rudder is offset the same way mine is?
    Thanks

Hmmm, looks like another project over the winter....
It was mounted that way. Will this create problem on the water?
    Hope not much....

Can't you just loosen the bolts and straighten it out? Looks like fairly normal "mounting slop" to me... If the holes are clearanced correctly, and assuming the holes in the transom are drilled correctly, that could be simply a matter of loosening the bolts and moving the rudder back to vertical.

With all the weeds in our pond acrobatic driving is recommended or I loose the rudder out on weeds anyways...

Bolts and rudder holes are drilled tight, no room to move.
From what I see after removing the rudder the holes are not drilled properly. They out of line so I will need to fill one up with epoxy, paint and drill again to fix it.
I will only do the buttom one to be able to move it little closer to the prop shaft.
Little that I have to do this with new boat.... Why mine???

Well... in lieu of getting a replacement, I'd probably opt to just slot the holes in the mounting bracket or open them up so it can be rotated back vertical. Not ideal, but in the end, the important part is for the rudder to be vertical.... You'll want to use some larger diameter washers to cover up the open up'd holes...

Yup... Further, you would only be modding the rudder bracket... MUCH easier to deal with! Definitely will improve your driving if this is vertical!! Then Doby might quite giving you $hit... :D

Or you could just do the simple "bend it back in shape" protocall......

That's assuming that the bracket it bent... I know that the Speedmaster stuff sometimes bends at the bracket, so that's possible... Personally, I wouldn't want to put that kind of stress on the transom. I'd open up one or both of the holes and just adjust it accordingly.

Bracket is not bent Doby, holes are drilled wrong...
I will not bent the bracket. I will drill open one of the holes
on the bracket to be able to move it a little...

It is not noarmal, sorry about that!

I would also file or adjust the holes in the transom.

BTY, I have run rudders up to 11deg angled with some secuess. But the revolt runs best with the rudder stright.
