Swordfish 200 help

Trying to set up Swordfish 200a esc and spektrum marine reciecer and 2.4g radio for the first time Followed the instructions holding the throttle on full get two beeps then no more beeps after that does it take a bit of time for the next four beeps sometimes can ou help me with the right process please
