    Default Aquacraft 42/55 prop on gieco?

    Hello i just got into rc boating and purchased myself a miss gieco and im looking to upgraded the prop the x642 were out of stock at the local hobby shop but he has an aquacraft 42/55 just wondering if this prop is fine to use with the stock setup?

    The 42x55 will be OK... It should prove to be faster than the stock prop for sure. More blade area and more pitch. If you upgrade the power system to the 1800KV or higher, it will be excellent.

    Frankly, NO PROP BOX should be without at least ONE ABC or Grim 42x55, and also an ABC 45x55... When all else fails, these are my fall-back props.

    Thnx very much for the reply darin another quick question the guy at the hobby shop said this prop is ready to use out of the package is that true or should i still balance it and sharpen?

    Balance and sharpen. The Grim props are better than the Octura's as raw props, but they both need sharpening and balancing. Be sure to wear a respirator as the beryllium dust is very hazardous.
