Default Brushless motor for 19'' mono ?

Hi all looking for a 28mm dia can brushless motor for my 19'' mono the hull c/w hardware and esc weight 19.1 oz i will be using 3s 1300 mah 25c lipos in 2p format with a 54 amp Castle Thunder bird esc and .098'' flex shaft. Im looking at setting this hull up for sport running and possibly racing. What kv range should i be using? What are the good motors to buy? As the Feigo's i used are no longer sold. One of the best choices around for a reasonable price motor & are very popular is the Leopard motors, for that size hull & to use with a 55a esc i would suggest you look at the Leopard 2845 motor which is up to 800w. Re kv on 3s for sport running theirs 2750kv for 30500rpm unloaded, 2960kv for 32800rpm unloaded.

How about an Ammo 28-45-2700kv? good for 4 cells also. I put one in a wildcat EP on a 3 cell setup with the Grim Racer prop off of my Revolt 31 (42mm I think) and it hauls!!! I am going to 4 cells on a X435 next.

2700 rpm on a 19" is plenty.. Try it out first and see how things go.. The thing to watch for is CG on being stable. Now any changes should be from prop like pitch of prop.. OSE has some carbon fiber in 6 pitch and some in 4 pitch for testing..---------- I have 2 -19" monos on outrunners---3635-1700 in which i can feel the cogs hit which tells me, power is there. Prop in the 36mm range on 3S and stable.
