    Stringers, are they needed?

Ive been working on improving my blackjack and have removed the battery trays and the servo mount and i was wondering if i could remove the stringers and replace the motor mount with one from ose. Im just afraid that removing the stringers will cause flexing, but the hull seems pretty solid. I would like to cover the inside with carbon fiber cloth (this would take away my fears of flexing), but im not sure of a good supplier. I found one a while ago that had multiple color combinations, but i cant seem to find them again.
