What is the best method to remove the flex shaft for re-grease without removing the whole strut?

Use 2 wrenches to loosen the flex collet at the motor and the shaft slides out from the strut. Who told you you have to remove the strut? Take prop off first and nut. Should be no problem.

Nothing stock about that BJ29. OSE upgrade Leopard motor and T180 ESC on 6S with Octura prop. Stock driveline parts, though. About 45mph I think... She turns on a dime!

With the rudder to one side mine seems to fight the prop one way and turn well the other. I have to let off the throttle to get it to turn anything but a large arc.

you don't need to run 6s for speeds in the 50s..stock speedo ul 1 motor x642 prop 2x 2s 5500mah 50c with no timing..for shorter runs I can crank timing up to 7degrees gps at 56mpg

I second the suggestion of a 36" twin Miss Geico cat!!

I know these are old posts in an old thread, but I'd love to see ProBoat offer a 36-inch-ish Mystic-styled twin cat. I'd snap up one in either Blackjack or Miss Geico livery in a minute.
