Series.
Wait a minute. If you have two 5S packs, they must be connected in parallel, NOT in series since that would give you 10S! If you have a 2S pack and a 3S pack, then connect them in series for a total of 5S. Follow the advice in the owner's manual and time a 2 minute run with the new setup to make certain nothing overheats.

Indeed. I shouldn't assume he's using a 3s and 2s to get 5s. I figured 5s packs wouldn't fit. fluid explained it better than I.
I'm using a 2s and3s thks for all your help
I have't tried the 5s yet ,but i did go from a grim 42/55 prop to m455 on the mc and man it was worth it!!!!
I run two 2s, 4s total in mine. If I run 5s total what do I need to know about matching my existing 2s? does the c rating or mAh need to be the saem between the 2s and 3s?
