    Default Diegoboy's monster tug

This is the monster tug that I am going to get after I sell the Chris Craft (SOLD) and the 38" Tow boat (Pusher Tug).

She is scratch built, 45" long 15" beam
    Functional winch with remote release
Cabin, mast, deck, search and nav lights (soon to be LED)
    Kort nozzle steering
    Rotating radar
    Rotating fire monitor (water cannon)
    All doors are functional (hinged)
    Tool box is functional (hinged)
    Tug sound board installed

    This is a Sweet boat!

To get an idea of how BIG she is, the Atlantic harbor tug by Aquacraft is 30"
    This one is 45"

This boat has pushed a barge with an adult man inside around the lake with ease. She has a automotive Radiator fan motor for power.

    Thanks Tom,
It's hard to beat a free tug, especially one like this. I'll take vid of the run when I get a stinkin' motorcycle battery to run her.

Wow she's a couple inches short than my darby...which weighs in at 67 pounds spinning 2 4-1/2 inchers and she uses a car battery and the said it's capable of pulling 4 men in a dingy. But this one you have here is a beauty....a Beauty

Thank you, Mine is running a single 3.5" prop in a functional kort nozzle with a 12V radiator fan motor for power. It's a HUGE motor with too much power! What motor(s) are you running?

Thanks Dirty. I am finally going to bed. I just got the police lights installed on the Dumas American Enterprise. They didn't work properly at first, but I got it fixed now. 2:35AM. Now just the mast, deck, and interior lights!
