I drilled out the drive dog to 5mm for the SV27 system.

I picked up a MRP Tunnel hull to mount it on.

I love the look of it and the EP1. It is almost perfectly scale, except the driver's head is rather large for the hull, lol.

Do you think I'll need a jackplate of some sort to mount the EP1 on? I just had knee surgery so I wont be able to work on it just yet. But I'll try to get some pics of it and with the motor mocked up in position.

Make sure the spacing on the drive dog is right, I place the stock 550 motor with drive dog and the brushless with drivedog head to head to make sure the spacing was right I also use peace on brass tubing on the BL motor shaft for spacing just in case the allen screw was to become loose it would keep the spacing.

I spaced it right comparing it to the stockk 550 out of the ep1.

should I directly mount it to th transom? Or should I make a jack plate?
