    you don't have to get lehner motor to reach 80-90mph, with those cheap motor you can get to that speed

    That's one bad assed cat! With that setup you'e gonna need a bigger lake. With that much power & speed potential be sure to take the time to trim your cat out so it runs as flat as possible. A blowover crash at that speed could, and probably would, rip the hull apart & send all your hard work to the lake bottom. Would be a good idea to have a recovery boat & SCUBA diver on hand to drop a location bouy where it goes down.

    Unless you plan on going for a new T Offshore class SAW record, I'd stay with 8S2P and just have fun, & getting experience driving that monster cat. NAMBA S & T Offshore SAW classes are limited to 8S2p and 10S2P respectfully. If you can get that puppy to run 100MPH on 8S, 110MPH on 10S, you should save up you money & fly to LA in October for the NAMBA Legg Lake SAW races. JIM

    Just a secret note: If you have a certain item in your cart at HK and it goes on B/O, you can complete the order for the price today and wait for stock to arrive. I can almost garantee you if they re-stock the price will increase. You might be waiting a while though...

    I have a Cart with 2-1050 kv motor in there. Thinking of pushing the button if need be soon.

    If I try hard I can squeeze'm into my 41" Fantasm twin cat, lol...

    I'm going to run a 1320 in my 40" mono on 6S2P and also, try the 780KV motor I have on 8S+++ ?

    I have never heard from a definative source that they are 6 pole motors but, maybe they are??

    If I set the Castle software to show 4 pole motor it reads 35K loaded rpm with 6s, if set to 6 pole it shows 23.5 which should be about right.

    Ray, 2 1520's on 6's will get you in the 80mph range without all the extra weight. 8s probably around 90 - 100mph no joke. That is what I'm doin with my Fantasm... 4sure

    No problem. Yes, once on B/O you cannot add to cart but if you have them in your cart as the item goes to BO then you cAn still order them & wait. I don't really have the coin to BO a pair but, I might. I can increase the BO quantity though at this time.

    Well if you would sell me a pair of 1520's for $60 each (original sale price) I'll take a pair! lol... Kidding.

    I think I'll stay with 880Kv T600 outrunners I have on 9S up. or other O/R motors for $40 a pop or so. They sound cool.

    I'm not sure how to interpret what you are saying with these numbers. Can you elaborate?

    Forget it, I get it now, 22.2 x 1320= ~29,000rpm unloaded = about 23,000 loaded or so.

    What would a good 6 lap prop be on 6S?

    Yep, you got it. Here's the charts, first is set to 4 pole, second to 6 pole.

    Okay, I've ordered two 5692 for the epv 135.
    So I hooe, that they will fast be restocked and delivered to me...
    And than 6S and YEAH

    6S = 22,2 V = ~ 29.000rpm
    9S = 33,3 V = ~ 40.000rpm
    12S = 44,4V = ~ 58.000rpm

    So the max will be 9S

    I have tortured my 5692s to 2860s well beyond the "safe" limits published by Leopard, and have yet to have one fail. In my highly biased opionion, as long as you don't over prop them or have coolant failure, you can add 50% to the rated max RPM for SAW racing. That would be 45,000 RPM in this case. For Offshore, sprint & oval racing I'd aim for the 35,000 to 38,000 RPM range as a "reasonable" limit. JIM

    I just got back from my 5th or 6th run with my T5692 1000kv on 8s. I love this motor, sounds cool as heck and has some gonzo torque to it......................5 stars from me.

    Just got this key chain hd camera off ebay and attached to top of cowl. This was 6S per, had a problem with receiver battery so it was a quick run.

    I wonder how well one of these T5692 1000kv motors on 8s would fair in a F41 Cat?

    I tried one of the 1340's and it wasn't that impressive, maybe just my setup though.

    And now that I think about it, I was only running 5 degree timing. I'm now running them at 20 so I may try it back in the Stryker in a couple weeks.

    Yeah, let us know how the higher timing works in your Stryker
    Ide like to try a 8s or better yet 10s setup, but I'm getting more 4s packs so I will probably stay with an 8s setup
