    Double D,

I looked up the Imax charger, I think the 12v power supply will handle this charger with no problem.
The Imax is out of stock, check out progressive rc, they are reputable.

These supplies are good. Don't know how well or what method is used too isolate the 24V combo that is being sold here, but I can say I have my own Powerlab setup charging eight 6s 5000mah in parallel. PSU's dont' break a sweat. Some PSU's can go up to 50A before shutting down.

    Default Power supplies

My power supplies have the DC ground floated, this means you have the AC and case ground still in tact. There are many others being sold that simply cut the AC ground, this works but if power goes to ground and you touch the case you can get shocked!!!

Thanks. Just need one to fit the toolbox for backup on test/tune days. For race dates with 3-4 chargers going, I lug along "Big Mama"

    Jeff,

I have run mine a few times with no issues except why are the fans on all the time. I guess I am used to my Bulldog that has temperature sensor so the fan does not run unless under enough load, but would be nice to have this feature on yours.

On all of my power supplies they all at least have a single fan that runs constantly and some have a second that turns on by a temp sensor mine that i got from jeff here runs the same as all of my other and is a great unit one of the best I ever used especially for the money I paid excess of two hundred for some that don't work as well as Jeffs unit does and personally I like the fans on all the time cooler is better ans I believe Jeffs units are pretty much made to run 24-7 ( jeff correct me if I am wrong on that ) so they pretty much need constant cooling anyways Thanks chris g

Chris you are right they are made to run 24/7 , I don't mind the fan noise, it reminds me I left it on.

    It wont do it.

These power supplies are rated 564 watts. That charger will do 400 watts charge and that doesnt factor in efficiency loss. If you are going to run that charger look for at least 800 watts. Preferably 1000 watts so you have some head room.

If you can settle for just the 400 watt charger then these would be perfect.

What charger? Read the thread, decide for your self, I was charging 4-5300 3S @ 40 amps the charger only pulled 20.1 amps at 24volts
That don't even make them warm!

Per your auction & the tag on the HP power supply: 564 Watts.

The charger is two ports @ 400 watts EACH = 800 Watts.

Im not mathematician, but the numbers dont add up.

Not a knock on your product. Ive considered one but am a DIY'er as I want to add readout. Also my charger is slightly more tame at 400 watts.
