    Default 18" mono project

Since my boat time ends at 3:30 every day, and my desire to play with the boat doesn't, I've decided I need something smaller/slower than a 29" cat that'll fit in the pool. I have the hull drawn up and have to decide between 15" and 18" overall (5" or 6" beam, respectively), but I'm a bit lost on powering the thing. For space reasons I want to go with a 380 brushless, and I want to run it on a 2s 2200 mAH pack. Anyone have any suggestions on a starting point for a prop and motor?

Small and cheap, perfect! I'm leaning more towards a 15" hull now and debating whether I should go with this:

    or this:

Definitely going with a wire drive on this one to save weight.

Sft2, the second link is what I have on my mhz gecko and its really really nice! I would start with an x427 prop. I have that on my Gecko and it hits 46 mph
    24 R/C vehicles and still counting...What budget?

This is a very nice boat and better suited and if you have a bit to ride it. For those who ride well these boats this is often faster than you think or want. It's very hard to handle at start but when It starts then it's a treat to watch. It sure looks very cool having nice features and technology.
