    Default Outboard case screws

Had a problem with a case screw when I tried to take the case apart. The allen head was rounded out and I had to remove the screw with a screw extractor.

Does anyone know where they can be purchased, besides buying the entire screw pack from Pro Boat?

    Thanks

Around here, we can get screws like this at Tacoma Screw Products... When my motor cover screws on this unit stripped out, I just drilled them up and tapped them for 4-40 sized.

Darin, do you know what size they are?

Might be possible to order some from McMaster-Carr

Talked to Pro Boat customer service today they are going to correct the problem with an outboard case screw pack since the boat is new.

They still don't seem to want to do anything about the HUGE prop nut, but were helpful in letting me know that all I had to do was purchase a standard 5mm nut at the hardware.
