Very impressed with my buddies cellpro, Think a powerlab would be my next charger if funds are available if/when that happens.
The PL8 is a 40 amp 1350watt charger. They seem to be popular with the plane crowd but not so much with boaters.
Need a serious power supply to get that out of it though.
I just bought a Powerlab, it's pretty slick I like it. I'm using a 24v 47amp ps at home and a deep cycle (or 2) at the pond. I hadn't heard much about these chargers either until I read about them on the heli forums. Waiting for the new parallel board that's on per-order. It all easily fits in a Rubbermaid toolbox, there are pics of some pretty nice portable charger setups on the heli forums as well. Search for "portable charging stations".

I have 2x Hyperion 720 duo's, and 2x 24v maxamps power supplies. The whole setup works exceptionally well, you can balance charge 2 packs at the same time in the instance you were running 6s2p you'd have perfectly balanced packs. I have had them at 20a output per side and charged 8x 6s packs in a row (4x pairs) and the charger and power supply didn't even break a sweat! I weighed up the power lab and other chargers but I'm really happy with my decision.

I went through this discussion when on got into the hobby on several forums, both the Hyperion and icharger were tops in recommendations.

IMHO forget the dual stuff, basically you are getting 2 smaller chargers under the hood connected together. I personally would rather go for 2 single chargers of good quality and then depending on amp output required go to the appropriate size. At least if one goes you still have a backup.

I personally bought 2 of these because I wanted the higher output (20A) http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...5FCharger.html If I had to do it over again I would go with a little smaller version (10A) at less cost like this. http://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...5FCharger.html
