Default 1:6 scale E-maxx aluminum stretch build

Hey guys..........started out in RC trucks years ago and recently got the bug again for Monster trucks. I have several Emaxx's..........2200 Mamba etc........... but have always thought they needed to have a longer wheelbase. This one has a custom frame that stretches the wheelbase to 16.5". Bought all the aluminum parts and am basically building it piece by piece.

I have a Beautiful scale 1:6 Ram body that i basically built it around. Its jet black and was painted at an auto body shop. It rides on 9" tall Imex Jumbo Kongs.

Been working on it for a few weeks now so i'll let the pics catch you up.

Got the lower chassis braces on................ threw a Feigao 540XL and a T120 on it for a quick test run.............worked well, but i will end up using a Neu 1515 1500kv I have that needs a home, the lower kv will work out well with the huge tires. Gonna run 4s with a waterproof ESC.

Last pic is with(on) my son's Emaxx

Took it out today for a hard run..............all kinds of different terrain. Climbs well and the suspension seems to be set up just right.

I may go up a couple teeth on the pinion for the Neu 1500kv motor, or go to the 4 pole 4074 2200kv motor i have.................needs a little more top end, but i love the torque and the ability to run very low rpms without the motor shuddering.

Vid below.........and yes my camera sucks.................got a new one coming for Christmas, an HD!

Here's a vid of it climbing around on big rocks and dirt................filmed with one hand and drove with the other.

I'm trying to find a truck body thats in the 24" long range.........the emaxx body looks a bit silly on it.

All lights work now front and rear as well.

Yeah!! Got my basher body in, no way am I gonna run it with the show/display body........well maybe on 4s real slow climbing.

This body is 4 inches longer than the standard Emaxx Stretch body, 22.5 inches long, biggest I could find on Tower.

Now it looks like a true monster truck, gonna run this body and the Jumbo's for normal running/bashing.

its a 3906 which i have had for 10 years bought after traxxas made it wider, the tires are from a store bought toy i got them from rc universe swap area for dirt cheap 7" tall and the imex rims fit great the whole tire combo is by far the lightest i own no foam they dont need it, motor is one that has been passed around the ose swap shop 40x96 4 pole it had a carbon fiber cooler run on 6s- 14/76 gearing, f/r spools
