I think its nothing but bad news, you know some parent out there will buy it for their kid as a first r/c car. I can see it mostly being driven up and down the street, it it was to hit someone or some thing it could cause lots of damage, I mean even driving in the open, on small rock or anything and that thing is out of control leaving you with a big parts bill. Better yet get 2 of them together.

Everyone's such a freaking downer lately. Why drone over would / could happen? Looks like great fun to me. There are far more dangerous hibbies for young kids to get into than R/C.

I think 100mph would probably take off your feet at the ankles. I hit myself with my rs4 right after it had shifted to second and it left a nice little mark

I hear it's 50mph off its mark without the I-phone and app

take a read though the manual, out of the box it will do 50 but you must have ipod touch or iphone plus purchase the app and then change a bunch of stuff to get it ready

Oh definitely. My heli could easily kill a person. I fly at the ball fields and make anyone else stay in the dugout or behind the backstop. Planes will just maim you nicely. Although I hit my wife with my park flyer and all it did was piss her off.

Very cool technological advancement. Great way to save the development and production cost on a display by using another device display. But it also now limits market to the iPhone / iPod alliance.

Realtime ESC stats on a wireless device... Hmmm. BRB.. lol.

The 1515 will take a Revo to 90+ with a Mamba, so not doubt about the 100mph claim with a 1717.

I think the telemetry is oddly placed... I won't be looking at my the bottom of my transmitter driving a 100mph car.

This does have a benefit to boaters, the motor being a CC1717 may mean some sort of availibilty for the motor again. One would imagine that spare motors for this thing would be needed. Slightly higher kv and a slick all black caseing. With the increased kv, could make a nice 5s2p setup in something in the 33"-39" range. Jmho.

That's kinda stupid. I've read enough of your threads to know of you having problems with everything you touch, so why be prejudice?
