One of the 2.4g radios from hobbypartz? Adjustable trim tabs?
To be honest there isn't much you can do for 55$ that would be much of an improvement in performance over stock, Other than trying different props. I know I run mine on more than a 40x52 prop, I think thats the prop my buddy is running on his with a UL-1 motor. It's no faster at all than my blue can one turning a bigger diameter prop.
A x440/3 seems to work really well as a "race" prop, good acceleration but a little less top speed, which is fine when the water is all chopped up from the other boats, I can run a full 3.5 minutes plus finish the lap, temps are good across the board and have about 3.75v left on 5000 mah packs. GPS'd it once with other boats on the water, top speed in race trim was just under 40mph.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?
