    Very interesting. I don't see how they'll get enough power out of 7hp to plane the boat.

    I'm with ya. 7hp in a 12' inflatable isnt very much. I cant see it in a 17' boat. We have to wait until it hits the market.

    with the lipo and brushless technology we have, 7hp doesn't sound like much, that quadline mono jacked made could do about 18!

    it said thrust horse power is that different than the standard also its more the torque of a 37 pound motor that will help plane i'm sure

    i guess it can spin a big prop with all the torque, but i'm still baffled at 7hp out of a 37 pound motor
