    Default 'binding' a spektrum dx2.0

my dx2.0 system arrived yesterday... way stoked... anyway, i was reading through the instructions and i have a question... seems i need to bind the rx to the tx... they supply a harness for 4 AA batteries and a switch to power the system... since i ll be using the system in an sv27 i d like to run it without a receiver pack... can i do this ?? seems to bind the tx and rx together you need to hold down the button on the rx and then turn it on.... since i won t be using a battery pack to power to rx, does this just mean that i hold down the button on the rx and then install the 2 6 cell packs ??? i figure that this is pretty much the same as powering up the rx...

thanks in advance for the help fellas... this is the first radio i ve ever installed and i don t wanna stuff it up...

Just use a reciever pack for the "binding" and all will be good. Once they are "bound" you don't need the reciever pack anymore and there is no longer a need to press the button on the reciever.

I use a DX-3 on my SV and other boats. I'll never go back to AM or FM.
You should enjoy yours as well !
