After looking at the weather report again this morning I've changed my mind about trying to go fly for a bit Sunday morning. I set aside the Pursuit I'm working on and got the esc changed out in my Falcon cat last night so will just show up at the lake at the normal time unless we decide to cancel that between now & Sunday. It's looking like it's going to be a bit on the breezy side.

Bill, I just checked the WFMBC site and unless Im just not seeing it, I dont see any mention of tomorrow on there anyway... you may want to post that there is a possibility tho and to stay tuned? Thanks

I just got in from getting an oil change on my van. I didn't update the website since tomorrow wouldn't have been a scheduled run and it was coverered in the email you sent to all club members. Considering that we're now kind of in limbo on it, it's probably just as well.
I really don't want to charge a bunch of packs and have to pull them back down at home either. Unless we can be sure that we're running tomorrow by 5:00 pm today (that would give enough time to charge a few packs before bedtime) I say just call it off and be done with it. It's going to be windy (about 10 out of the SE by 10:00 am) anyways.

I just got home form this mornings work to grab a quick bite and head back out, looks like Im out for tomorrow now as well. Im with you Bill. I think we should just call it cancelled. Ill send an email now.

I feel kind of guilty for killing the run, but if the aviation wind forcaster is accurate it would have been a choppy running day anyways. I've been busy with houshold chores and running here and there all morning myself. I was just coming back to check in and see where we stood myself.
I'll go back to work on the Pursuit.

So, Ive been thinking for a while that Im tired of all the Geico green boats that are oftern in LSO. I knew what I wanted to do but couldnt get the recources together to get it done. Finally, I found an answer and did up a new boat for "behind the house pond bashing'" with my neighbor as he has a Genesis and I thought Id build a similar boat (Daytona) so we can be competitive against eachother. The scheme came out well and I had been on a search for quite some time for a new LSO hull. I could repaint mine butthe time and energy I didnt feel was worth it when a white Mystic hull is available. I Came accross a few but either not worth the money, too beat up etc. Last week I finally found one. It came in today and as you can see, Ive had everything ready to go ont it.

Part two of the story, Ray, who is building a new Q boat, sent me an email the other night that said "might as well go all the way" and attached was JBS decal sheets. Guess we are going from Geico to JBS. Heres pics of my Daytona I built a few weeks ago and the new LSO Mystic hull that i will be running now in LSO.
