Turnigy 120 ESC Programing..

Have got ma turnigy program card now,can anyone advise on some decent settings for the turnigy 120a esc useing stock motor and prop,Iam not a racer or a basher just yet,
eg,Lipo cut off or slow down so I can retreive the boat and any other susgestions,

have you got the card with the 12 settings? if so you only have 4 programmable settings for the 120
setting 1 running mode, 1=forward only 2=forward backward

setting 2 lipo cells, 1=auto calculate 2= 2cells 3= 3cells 4= 4cells 5=5cells 6=6cells

setting 3 low voltage, 1= auto 2=2.8v/cell 3=3.0v/cell 4=3.3v/cell 5=3.4v/cell

setting 4 timing, 1= 0.00*, 2=3.75*, 3=7.5*, 4=11.25*, 5=15.00*, 6=18.74*, 7=22.5*, 8=26.25*,

the settings that are on the front of the card do not actually relate to the marine esc took a while for me to find this out.

the timing I run may be a little on the high side although my temps when running 15* are ok., you may want to run at 11.25*

set mine on these settings and all seemed to be ok

running mode=1, forward only
lipos = 4, 4cells
low voltage = 4, 3.2v/cell
timing = 5, 15.00* maybe drop that to 4, 11.25*

this is what mines set at not saying this is the right settings just what I use

I went from 15 timing to 11 and it didn't seem to make any difference to the speed but temps were lower. I use the seaking card and it tells you the boat settings on the front. So at the mo I'm running the same esc settings as Griff and all ok.

I have one of these
Turnigy ESC Program Card Marine, K-Force, EZ-Run V1/V2 and the only setting I can use are,1 forward/Reverse and and lipo cut off,this cannot be right surely ?? running a Turnigy 120a esc..
