    Default Shaft sleeve on strut coming out in high RPM

    What is the best way to keep the sleeve from coming out and spinning on the cable shaft

    it is on my 46" AC razor

    That looks perfectly normal! It is designed to "float" and the little lip will keep it from sliding in too far.

    it will slide all the way to the prop collet and spin is that ok seems strange

    like jesse said… it is designed to work that way. dont try to keep it from sliding, thats what it is supposed to do.

    Thanks for the help it didn't look right Does the gap look right it i took it out for its first run today it is scary fast running 55mm prop with 10s not sure of top speed

    The best rule of thumb is to leave a gap equal to the diameter of the flex cable.

    yep that is how i set it up..... just overthinking my first 46" boat with almost as much HP as a riding lawn mower thanks for the help

    Thats what I felt the first time I build a boat! A riding lawn mower...Nice!
    24 R/C vehicles and still counting...What budget?
