Default Kyosho twin storm brushless recommendations please!!

Hi, I am after recommendations on a budget brushless (single) setup to run in my twin storm, it currently has twin traxxas titans (brushed) through a gearbox spinning an octura x443 but the esc appears to have died, there is no point spending big money as I am going to be building a fighter cat over the winter but I need something that will let me continue having fun and so I can sell it to fund the project.

I am currently running x2 8.4v nimh which I'd like to continue using and realise the limit for the boat is going to be about 30mph, can anyone recommend any of the seaking range from HK?

    Thanks

Would a Seaking 60amp ESC and 3600kv combo be any good? i presume a higher rpm would be ok given the reduction gearbox, but would it have the torque to replace the two 550 brushed motors?

What size is the 3600kv motor? if its a 36mm can and 50+mm length then the ESC most likely cant handle it in a boat app. I would go with a 120a speedo and Feigao 8L motor. If the 3600 is a true 550 size you can most likely use it, but you need a 120a speedo.

I have a Kyosho JetStream and the Seaking 90A and Hobbywing Seaking 3660 (3060Kv) and couldn't be happier. I was topping out at 30MPH with NMH but know Im going faster with my 40C Lipos. Now I did have to drill out the motor gear to 5mm as it only took 3mm. I got close but still see some wobble and am preparing to go direct with it if it kills the gear.

Wow is all I can say for about 100$ from Hobbypartz. I think you will get a better deal there with free ship unless your out of the US. If you have any extra Twinstorm gears I am looking into trying them out in the Jet Stream as the Kyosho America guy said it would be a great upgrade but didn't know if they would fit and didn't want to blow 40$ on gears that wouldn't work :). I bought some JS1 housings thinking they would come with gears but nope and I am having trouble finding a 23/4 tooth 20.6mm gear (outside diameter) that will take a 5mm shaft. I'd even settle for a 3mm at this point lol.

How about one of these? As mentioned I'd like like to run on 14 cells

Have you seen the suggestions I got on my thread. https://forums.offshoreelectrics.com/...oing-brushless

I would go with what I used as the cheapest choice as Hobbyking is still going to get 10$+ out of you for shipping.

I just took mine out again and didn't gain any speed with the Lipos as the boat comes out of the water more. I can now spin out though on a whim lol. I really do love how she handles though.
