    Hey mate,

welcome to the V revolution! lol

I always recomend kintec racing or here at off shore electrics for supervee upgrades.

You can get everything you need and more from them. The prices are cheaper for you as they're in american dollars and you would probly
recieve you stuff through the airmail in a coupla weeks.

I'm originally from Englsnd but live in oz now, and I still get anything I need from either knitec or OSE.

    Happy boating mate

You might have temperature problems using that prop on a 2300kv 2 pole motor, even the stock SV prop may be too much.
The stock motor it comes with is a higher quality motor than the Keda, longer, more poles and higher efficiency.
I'm not sure I'd run that prop on my stock SV with a 1500kv motor which has a lot more torque than that motor.
My buddy John cooked an off brand 2 pole 2300kv motor in his SV running an x442, luckily his esc survived, the winding overheated and melted down.
He's now running a UL-1 motor with a Aquacraft 42x55 prop and it runs really well and fast.
If my boats upside down then who owns the one I thought I was driving the last two laps?

    By the way andy,
Your boat looks sweet! Those speed stripes and slightly blured proline decals make it look super sleek mate!
I'm hoping to get some pics of mine up soon- then you'll see some proper novice spraypainting!

Yep, nice looking sv. . . I really like my sv27. I know there are faster and more stable boats to be had. . . but this was my first FE and I've enjoyed all the learning I've done from tinkering and reading and trial and error.

Like siberianhusky said I just replaced a Turnigy 2300 KV motor a few weeks ago wit a UL-1 even though I was careful to prop down on the Turnigy, there is just no comparison between the two motors. . . . ecept that the UL-1 cost me about double the price of the Turnigy which lasted me almost a full season. . . LOL.

I have stock set-ups on the other two boats and the motors do come in considerably hotter than the UL-1 given the same amount of run times. Some have suggested that the HK Turnigy 36/56 1800 KV motors are much more robust and properly sized for that boat but I think I'll just stick with what has been proven even if it costs me a few dollars more.

    Enjoy your sv.

What do you want to upgrade? I've never driven one I'm not a RTR kinda guy, but there was one racing in mono2 locally for a while, and I think the thing that let it down the most was its Hull, it was not at all stable even compared to the usual stepped monos and the unstepped boats are usually much more stable, and of course it was not as fast as the stepped boats.

There are boat model shops in the UK but very few and mostly online not bricks and mortar, these 3 are run by racers for racers and have given me good service in the past, Astec first as I have known Allan for years and he is the only FE specialist in the UK Astec Models Model Marine Supplies Prestwich Models and Heath's RC Models are not a boat specialist but Paul and Lee Heath are both FE racers and are fast expanding both their knowledge and the shops line up of boats and boating gear, I know they have more than is listed on the web so are worth a call.

You have to be carefull how much you push a SV, their not very stable hull when pushed to much.
