Thread: Ammo motor slower than stock?

    Default 2 pole or 6 pole

    OK everyone I have a correction to make about a previous statement I posted concerning the AMMO 3656 1800kv (#GPMG5315) motor.
    Joe Ford had the Aquacraft 3656 ( not the Ammo) motor that he counted the poles on( he thought they were the same).....so when we talked today I got the phone # to call Great Planes.
    After talking with them I now have state that I was wrong........ the ammo motor IS a 2 pole motor NOT a 6 pole motor.

    Actually Steven posted this fact some time ago. I guess people just forgot. With the Ammo motor you want to prop down. I think the X440 was the top range prop. Try a X637.
