    Default KOS burning up servo's

The original servo locked up after the first 5 minutes of running. I replaced the server with a high-end Savox servo and ran the boat through 3 sets of batteries until it fried too. In both cases the servo was so hot you couldnt touch it. What could be causing this? I am stumped!

Maybe you are overpowering the servos. Some servos don't like to have an input of more than 5 volts. I use an external LiPo batteries for my boat electronics. It has a voltage regulator to supply 5.1 volts to the servo, etc.

Hmmm that might be it. I have a volt meter so I will need to check the voltages going to the servo and then take it from there. Thanks for the idea!
