    Default lipo reciever pack

    I just wanted to know the pros/cons of using a lipo reciever pack.

    its the same as a normal nimh pack but its lipo
    not much " cons to it"
    pretty basic
    pro, other the the obvious which are size and weight, would be they last a lot longer depending on the size

    The biggest con with any type of rechargeable battery is you have to charge them. I use 4 regular non-rechargeable Duracell AAA for my receiver pack. I don't like to use rechargeables in radio equipment because they tend to run out very suddenly when they do which can result in a crash. Non-rechargeables run down gradually so you get some fair warning it's happening. That's my reasoning anyway. The batteries last a long time also so it is cost effective.

    Can some tell me if you are to recycle nihm's( Discharge) prior to charge??

    No. NiMH do not have the memory effect. What to avoid with NiMH is discharging them too far.
