Hey Randy this one's for you - my favorite "feel good " tune of all time - We were both "there" when the MAGIC was on the STREET

"....Yeah, do you believe in magic
Yeah, believe in magic of a young girl's soul
Believe in the magic of rock and roll
Believe in the magic that can set you free
    Ohh, talking bout magic...."

Miracles, With Your Love, And Count On Me....I can listen to those three Starship songs repeatedly.
Brings me back to when i was a youngster, times must have been good because the songs always make me feel good.

Music is truly the soundtrack of our lives.

Rock is NOT dead.....for your consideration:
These guys recorded their latest (7th) studio album in Dave's 2-car garage using only Analog recording equipment.
I saw them in Phoenix last year.....F-ING Awesome! Left me deaf in my left ear and unable to speak for 3 days :)
Here's them playing their newest album non-stop in Studio 606. 49min of un-polished, hard-rocking, loud, sometimes offensive, adrenaline pumping rock!
If you've never tasted the Foo before, recommend you start by listening to Dave's new favorite song at 21:54

Eh.... Buncha old timers who think this is cutting edge guitar playing. By today's standards, it's really not impressive. Just some basic playing with a buncha noise making in the middle. Being a guitar player amongst extreme metal, I can say, it's not all that great. But nice try -)

Hell Yes. Whatever you're doing, this song will make you do it much harder. Hold on to your socks or you'll trip them right off

Not a fan. That sounds like the devil to me (or how I imagine the devil sounds). Got me thinking South Park now! Love how your guitar is coming along, BTW. Sdg

A different kind of devil to me. I first heard this kind of music in the mid to late 80's. At venues where I wasn't wanted but was accepted.
It's an angry kind of music and just not for me. Of course someone will argue that I have no taste or that I'm old school. I am old school as my taste vary from before my birth to some of the newer stuff.
Just can't get my hand around (his neck) Justin Bieber.

Not even with Ronnie James Dio?(Heaven and Hell?)
I used to be into some Death Metal in the early 90's; Morbid Angel, Napalm Death, etc....
Have you got anything more recent Dana?

The instrument playing is excellent (expecially the guitar work) and for just out of highschool, that much better. I guess it was the vocals that I couldn't get into.

Always love to hear some Dio!
Dana, maybe we can agree on this one. Even if it's not your style, you gotta at least appreciate the video's simple concept.......

I do not mind harsh vocal if the music (guitar and drums) is good.
