Also, notice that my FE30 builds that use T-180's incorporate the right-angle banjo water fittings to allow a 2P battery configuration beside the SC, but also have the motor and SC spaced so that a 1P setup can allow a single battery to fit properly in front as well.

Stinger shortened, hardware mounted with all holes sealed, note reinforced upper rudder bolt internal transom backing plate just for added strength since the upper bolts miss the existing transom backing plate. Wil start on rails after my midday nap

Got the stinger installed & the rudder backing plate roughed out ( to mount rudder high enough to clear the tabs, the top mounting holes come through above the boat's transom backing plate, so I make a reinforcing piece for extra strength - details, details!). Will shorten stinger, mount the rest of the transom hardware, and start the rails today.

Tony's builds are awesome guys and he spends a lot of time on them as if they were all his own boats. I've seen almost all of these boats in person and they are 2nd to none!

My second fe30 had its first wet today and went perfect, another TOP SHELF build from tony, thank you brother keep up the good work. Now I need to find me some union jack decals for it (dont look right without them) thank tony.

Robert wanted to start out with spec power with the option to go P-Sport later. I totally agree - start out learning the ways of Sport Hydro's and power up later.


Setting the strut height with nifty guage, tube for servo-rod pass through ( gives clearance for rod to articulate without binding) and makes for easy to attach bellows. Nylon shear bolt add-on is a must.

Robert has his own UL-1 motor, SC, & servo. I mocked up with my spares. Front hatch retention tabs for safety's sake.

The FE30 has lots of interior room for a clean layout. Looks great in RED !

I ran my FE30 set up by Tony today for the first time. All I can say is WOW!! It ran great, came in dry, I could not be happier. If anyone is thinking about a new boat and on the fence as to whether or not to ask Properchopper to set it up, I recommend him highly! I am glad I went to him for the FE30, Mean Machine, and my skiff. Thanks Tony!

Finally got it done !

Rearwheelin Randy CF motor mount with CF speed control mount on top of motor mount.

CF servo mount keeps servo tucked away but accessable. Note CF transom reinforcing plate.

CF battery trays and nifty shaft support.

Batteries secured with velcro one-wrap. Flood chamber makes this asymetrical.
