I showed my son the video for the minimono and he is pumped. He already has a wildcat that he has outgrown..speed wise..I have noticed that both boats share similar parts..if that's the case..be prepared to have lots of extra driveshafts on hand..they fray apart quickly..I have had his wildcat for 8 months now and have gone through 3 driveshafts..his wildcat is much slower and has 2 shafts..so with the minimono going much faster and with a similar shaft..I would be prepared for shaft issues

Ummm, it says its a wire drive, so lets check facts first before "preparing" for issues that don't exist.

Well .Mr Doby.. the aquacract part numbers between both models of their driveshafts are only one digit difference ..I would say they are very similar ..

Gee one digit ...they must be identical..... how about reading the AQ webpage for the boat...it clearly says its a wire drive, as does the manual thats on line..but I guess one number means more than written words...

Im just saying all the parts share some similarty..and that includes the driveshaft, which I have replaced on numerous times on the wildcat..DO YOU OWN A WILDCAT??? i guess not ..otherwise u would see that both boats share similar parts(driveshaft, rudder, servo, motor coupler..etc,etc,etc,)..anyone who ever has had wildcat will quickly see the similar parts between the boats......
