ok called pro boat today, they said to measure inside of the boat at the stern to 9in forward of that, then place your batteries
half way between that point.

16.luca you are asking questions and not listening to the answers people are giving you, my advice listen and follow what they say some of these people have been working on this boat since it came out, everyone has been working to get rid of the bounce or the wahwah, I had to in the end true the sponsons to stop mine bouncing. Now mine is running at 55mph no problem the setup is as follows leopard 4074, t-180 esc, mounted infront of the motor, 4s2p 4000mah nanotech cells sitting flush with the front of the trays, m445 prop, with the strut level with the ride pads, plus i have the kintec offset for the rudder,i also have foam in the front of the sponsons, here is a video of mine running at 55mph with this setup, http://youtu.be/rexRB9LXKEw

I run a stock mg with a 220 and get 40.2mph. front of batteries even with the motor mount and no bounce
