    Hi,

Do miss ELAM got a cut off on low voltage or i need lipo shield ?

And if it use 2 battery(Lipo) do i need 2 lipo shield, how i use them and do they work on stock Miss Elam?

Im a new in boating only got a Mini-V and im going for a miss Elam brushless
    Sorry for my english.

You can buy 2 accucell charger/banlancers from hk for 50$ but you will need a power supply if you use the stock esc than the programming card can be set for lipo if you order a aftermarket esc it should have a built in low voltage cut off as for lipos it's a tight fit a 4000 will fit a 5000 will squeeze in but is difficult to remove but 25c or more you might be able to find one on eBay at a reasonable price I loved my Elam more than the ul1 if you have anymore question I'm more than happy to help

Here's how to install the liposhield. http://www.dimensionengineering.com/...LipoShield.pdf

    You will only need one.

If you have two batteries (i'm assuming they will be wired in parallel) the lipo shield wired (battery ones) plug into the last possible spot before the ESC. this would be the two wires coming out of the ESC, then the battery connections would be made after that, only one goes on as it protects both batteries. if you get two, they would interfere with each other if one cut off and one stayed on.

I beleive the x642 is the best one for this boat,, and if your running it all stock you realy dont need the lipo sheild just run a couple laps and bring here in,, thats what i did with no probs and if you want it to fly run the batts in series to get 14.8v,,,mine was all factory with a x442 prop and running two 7.4 2s 40c 5000 lipos in series and she ran 41mph with my GPS over and over!!!PS put alittle wate in the nose cuz she will flip!!!
