36.5 Today with complete stock set up except prop
I’m using an x642 done by Joey ice329
    1500Kv blushless
    45A esc
    Gens ace 5300mah 2S1P 7.4V 30C Lipo battery pack
I did stuff the front sides with pool noodles and
Was carrying my garmin nuvie 660 6.2 oz
So I figure I should get at least another mph without the weight of the gps
So 37.5 is damn fast for a stock boat
I think its because of the thin hull it weights less (see previous post about cracked hull)

    Chiefy,
I'm thinking of getting that motor to get me into the 50's on 4s (i already have the same esc and prop). My questions are:
1- how are your temps using the 2200kv (batts., esc, motor)
2- does the "tupperware" lid still fit with the 4074 installed?
    thanks,
    Neal

yes the tupperware lid still fits but i changed my flex shaft to a 187 and used a octura coupling because the standard one sheared off with me, if you go this way you may have to relieve the motor mount to fit the coupling i had to, temps were not to bad but i only ran the boat for about 3 mins the motor temp was around 140 cells were warm but not too bad caps were if i remember rightly were around 120 but to be honest i will not swear on these temps but possible in the next day or so i will go run it again and take alll the temps with my temp gun and forward them to you, the one thing about this motor it likes amps its very very hungry thats why i went 4s2p 4000, and only run for 4-5 mins max. my next change of motor will either be and neu 15151y or the castle version as they are more effiecent, ohh the other ting i did was remove the bec circuit off the esc and run a reciever pack to help the temps.

    Chiefy,
Thanks man, i think i might stick with the stock motor for now and try it on 5s for my next step. Only because i dont wanna stess out my batteries and one 3s pack will cost me alot less than 2 4s packs (to run parallel). Or, maybe ill just get a lower kv motor than the 2200. Thanks for your input,
    Neal
