    Default 1800kv motor results

I replaced the 1500kv motor in my Miss Geico and installed the 1800kv stiletto motor. I am also using the SeaKing 180a esc.
on a 4S set up (50c 5000mah) with a M445 prop it ran 42.5mph. The boat handled great no bounce at all. With the stock motor it ran 41.6mph.
I am going to do a 5s set up in the morning....

It didnt run hot w/ the M445? Sport running or racing? I ran that set up, hated it and went back the the 1500. My findings were faster and cooler for LSO racing w/ the 1500. Oh and I ran the 642, detonged and cupped. ran just about the same apeed as the 1500 M445, but ran 25 degrees hotter after a 4 min race.

Tested the boat today with the 1800kv motor, ran 41.1 and was motor was hot. Installed the 1500kv OEM motor and fresh batteries and it ran 41.5 and alot cooler. It also seemed to have more balls out of the hole. I am using the M445 prop and custom offset rudder. With my set up the boat doesnt bounce of at all even with 6s set up (54.1mph).

    So the 1500kv motor stays..............

Thanks for the update. I'm glad I'm not the only one who thought the same way. Seems like the "mystic 29" needs to stick with the 1500.
