Default FASTech water proof box removal

Hey, I was taking all the gear out of my recently purchased (used) Formula Fastech and was wondering if you really need the waterproof box. It looks so much cleaner without it.

I have the Spektrum MR3000 Rx, I will rubber coat the servo and have a Seaking 60A v1 ESC. All should be water resistant - so is the box still good to have?

Figured I could mount everything a bit lower without it, and make it easier to work on. I have another antenna mount so it doesn't serve that purpose anymore either.

I hate the look of that crappy ziploc container!

OK, I'll go for the clean install. Sounds like it is not necessary if your equipment is ready.

I'm in Toronto, in the Beach area. GP73, I have admired your vids and wondered if you were local.

Lakeshore and Parklawn pond, have to look that one up.

I'd love to come and run, do you have a regular date? Charging facilities nearby?

That sounds fun, been looking for a local place.

I am camping this weekend, but maybe the next. Do you have a google map link to where the pond is?
