    Default Stuck Prop Shaft

Okay, I am was ready to lube the flexshaft for the 2nd time since picking up the BJ 26 and I had loosened the collet nut on the flexshaft and the 1.5 MM set screws.

I then tried pulling out the prop shaft to remove flexshaft and the thing wont budge! Its my fault as I read the manual and I should have lubed this when I lubed the driveshaft the first time

Has this ever happened to you and does anyone have any tips for getting the %^&* out? I sprayed wd-40 on it but no luck.

    Thank you!

I really hate being dumb about these things. Seems like I may need to bring in an expert at hobby shop

    Guys,

This doesn't happen too often but I fixed the problem by reading carefully the instructions of another, thank you domwilson who posted in the thread above. That worked!

    Very happy this forum exists!

Its not being dumb, its just a learning curve. Youll start picking up all the tricks of the trade just as a lot of us have. We all had to start somewhere. Glad you got it fixed and welcome to the forums!

When I got started on here, I couldnt have survived w/ out the help of Mr Wilson.

    Thanks tiqueman,

BTW, after 'fixing' it, found that it was still not right. So I spent some time taking it apart again and studying it and finally think I got it right. I believe the prop was set too far back. Could be why in the video I took below it takes so long to really get going.
