I have the Turnigy Marine 180A Brushless Boat ESC coming on Wednesday. What settings should I use ? How do you program it compared to the stock ESC/programmer.

Yea and 120s should be fine on 5s... I'm going to be running a 120 with the 1800kv outrunner and should be perfect on 5s. I'm going to get a 180 anyways but a 120 should be a ok.

120 should be real nice on 5s with that outrunner. I am running a CC1800kv outrunner on 4s with the stock esc and a grim 42x55.

Increase in amps. More amp draw with increased RPM, spinning at over 40,000rpm there will be increase in amps with the system trying to maintain that RPM. If you do it. Prop low and conservative.

Me personally never a fan at running esc's at max voltage, but I play things safe.... There are people running those esc at max voltage with no issues, but some do have issues...
