    Mini-V Re-Build

Im going to be doing a rebuild of my mini-v and just wanted to check my shopping list:

    Esc: Seaking 35a brushless watercooled

Motor: Airfield rc 70mm 2600kv brushless

    Servo: T-pro mg9os 9g metal gear servo

    Radio: FlySky FS-GT2 2.4g 2ch

Rudder/strut: OSE Micro Hardware system http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...prod=ose-80972

Flex Cable: Octure .098 cable system http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...oct-oc098L-24c

    Coupler: Octura 1/8" to .098 http://www.offshoreelectrics.com/pro...oct-ocfhe18098

Still need a prop and a new steering boot but how does this list sound to all you experts?

Please post your results of your set up.
I'm curious to see how the inline micro hardware performs.
A lot of the builds I've read about used offset strut and rudders.

I ran the Mini V I got from you for the first time today. What a blast!
Talk about rediculously overpowered. Oh Man.
Thank you for feeding the addiction.

Have you made a decision on your hardware yet?
I think I'm going to start with the .098 Flex with .125 prop shaft going into the stock steerable outdrive. I'll probably order an X427, X430 and the 431 and 432 in plastic.
right now with the stock prop I'm getting torque roll from 1/2 throttle on up. Maybe the smaller X427 will help tame that. Hopefully I can prop up from that.
